Not only did he get all the benefits of buying a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle, he was the 50,000th customer to do so and walked away with a bonus $500 Caltex fuel card as a thank you from Toyota.

In the six years since Toyota established its Certified Used Vehicles program, tens of thousands of customers across the country have enjoyed the peace of mind, security and financial rewards that come with buying a high quality certified used vehicle through a Toyota dealer.

Mr Storey said he was specifically looking for a comfortable seven-seat SUV for his growing family and the Kluger fitted the bill perfectly.

“I am very happy with the Kluger and the whole experience at Berwick Toyota was fantastic and completely hassle-free,” Mr Storey said.

High quality used Toyota vehicles must be less than 10 years old and have fewer than 160,000km on the clock and are certified only after undergoing an extensive inspection of all mechanical components, interior and exterior body condition, keys, books and more before being delivered in a showroom condition.

Those used Toyota vehicles deemed eligible for certification are also subjected to a CarHistory^® check that searches the country’s largest database of consumer and credit records. The vehicle’s financial history is assessed in addition to checking it has not been stolen, written off, flood or storm damaged or had the odometer wound back.

Apart from the peace of mind of buying a very high-quality used car, customers that purchase a certified used vehicle also benefit from the Toyota Service Advantage capped price servicing for any remaining eligible scheduled logbook services.

They also receive 12 months of Toyota Roadside Assist, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the date of purchase.
